It all started when…

I realized that staying in great shape requires just two simple things: a kettlebell and a pair of running shoes.

With these essentials in hand, I discovered a powerful duo that not only transforms your body but also uplifts your spirit. Kettlebell workouts deliver dynamic strength training, engaging multiple muscle groups and torching calories. Meanwhile, running offers a liberating experience, allowing you to clear your mind and push beyond your limits.

However, I quickly recognised that while the tools are straightforward, the journey to fitness can be challenging and isolating. That’s why I created Run the Bell Challenge — a vibrant community designed to empower and inspire you every step of the way.

In our 6-week program, you’ll master effective kettlebell techniques and running strategies while connecting with others who share your goals. Together, we’ll celebrate achievements, overcome obstacles, and build not just physical strength, but resilience and camaraderie.

WHAT TO EXPECT ???

Are you ready to take on a new challenge in the new year? I'm looking for 20 MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS to join our RUN THE BELL CHALLENGE starting JANUARY 6TH

Here’s what you can expect!

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING: We’ll meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7PM for dynamic kettlebell workouts designed to build strength, improve mobility, and enhance overall fitness.

RUN OR WALK: On Tuesday and Thursday, you’ll have the flexibility to run or walk at your own pace, allowing you to fit your training into your schedule while still making progress.

COMMUNITY PARK RUN: Come together as a community every SATURDAY for a fun park run, where we can support each other, celebrate our achievements, and enjoy the great outdoors.

This challenge is not just about fitness; it’s about building a supportive community that holds each other accountable and inspires growth. If you’re ready to commit to a healthier lifestyle and connect with like-minded individuals, I’d love for you to join us!

Get moving and sweat it out in our challenging but fun workout classes. The Bunker’s camaraderie makes it easy to stay motivated, whatever your goals or fitness level.

 

Hidden in a restyled WWII bunker, the gym is a few minutes walk from Dollis Hill and Willesden Green tube stations.

THE BUNKER BURNOUT

The Bunker’s signature sweat-fest in a friendly group setting. Constantly changing, mixing up boxing and circuits in high intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions. Three to five of these a week will get you in the best shape of your life.

Bespoke sessions planned out to help make your fitness goals reality. One hour of one-on-one knowledgeable instruction including warm-up and cool-down, either at The Bunker, a park of your choice, or at your home. You'll also be given tailored nutritional advice to help you achieve your fitness goals.

FAQ


Where are you? In the basement of the Gladstone Park Community Centre and Nursery, 162 Anson Road. Access is from the park side, by the Pavilion Cafe facing the rugby pitch.

Is there parking? Limited parking is available in the Nursery car park. On-street parking is available on Anson Road. Cycle parking is available on the north side of the Pavilion Cafe.

Are there showers? Not yet, but we're working on it!

How do I get started? Turn up shortly before a class and we can get you moving straight away. Wear trainers and something you don't mind getting sweaty! For your free weights induction, please call ahead.

Who runs The Bunker? Dusty Hall is an Elite Boxing coach, YMCA-qualified personal trainer and strength & conditioning trainer. He has a background in boxing, athletics and rugby. He has designed fitness programmes and coached for Kilburn Cosmos RFC, working to maximise explosive power, strength, endurance and stamina. 

"I love all-round high-intensity workouts that focus on improving stamina and speed.  I enjoy all types of training: sprinting down an athletics track, using body weight exercises and free weight equipment but most of all boxing and bag work: it's the ultimate fitness challenge.

"As a personal trainer I look forward to giving challenging yet fun sessions that help people achieve their goals, from losing weight and toning up to achieving peak condition for playing sport.
